Penalties concern overdue returns or renewals, as well as damage to or loss of material.
  • Overdue returns:
In the event of overdue return of material beyond the specified lending period, the user is required to pay €0.15 per book for each day of delay. Days on which the Library is closed (weekends, public holidays, exceptional closures, etc.) are excluded. In cases where the delay occurs due to Library responsibility, the system is adjusted and the user is exempted from charges.
  • Damage-loss or deterioration:
In the event of damage to or loss of loaned material, the user must immediately notify the circulation desk and either replace the book or pay its replacement value. In cases of partial damage (where the item remains functional), the user is required to replace it. If replacement is not possible, the user is deprived of lending rights for one month.
