You can search the Library’s Public Online Catalog (OPAC) using the bibliographic information you have available or by searching according to the subject you are interested in, whether you are inside or outside the Library premises.
In this case, the book may currently be in use by another user, located on a study desk or book cart, or it may have been incorrectly reshelved by a user. For this reason, users are encouraged to place books on one of the reading room carts after use rather than returning them directly to the shelves.
In the Library’s Public Online Catalog (OPAC), type the artist’s surname using the alphabet corresponding to their nationality — for example, in Greek if the artist is Greek. For artists of other nationalities, use only the Latin alphabet, paying careful attention to the correct spelling of both the surname and first name in order to obtain accurate results. If you are unsure about the correct spelling of the name, you may verify it online beforehand.
The Library’s Public Online Catalog (OPAC) is an electronic system that allows users to search and access the Library’s collections. The Library operates as a distribution and return point for "Eudoxus" textbooks. The number of available textbooks is limited, as the distributed copies come from returns made by other students.
To collect textbooks you must first:
– have declared the textbook through the "Eudoxus" platform,
– ensure that our Library appears as the designated distribution point for the textbook,
– and know your 12-digit PIN code.
Before visiting the Library, please check the availability once again, since copies are often exhausted quickly due to the limited number of textbooks available at our Library. Users are advised to know the title of the textbook, as books are arranged alphabetically on the shelves. If copies are no longer available at the Library, you will find an alternative distribution point through the Eudoxus platform.
To return textbooks, after receiving the relevant notification from Eudoxus, you must bring the textbook, and your academic ID card.
Books related to a specific artist, whether Greek or international, are located in a separate room on the first floor and are arranged alphabetically according to the artist’s surname. On the spine label of the books M refers to foreign artists, and ME refers to Greek artists.
Magazines/Serials are non-loanable material. You may consult them within the Library and scan, photocopy, or photograph the article you are interested in.
Current-year magazine issues are displayed on the display stands located next to the reception desk on the ground floor. The newly acquired books are also displayed in the same area.
Most of the Library’s magazine collection is not directly accessible to users. After locating the title and issue you need through the Library catalogue, you must complete the relevant request form and ask the staff at the reception desk to retrieve it for you
